As owner/broker of Authentic Realty, I started this company with a vision to stay a niche brokerage with a number of diverse agents that specialize in all areas of the market. The agents I choose to work along side have the same values and goals as I do. As a team, we agree that our clients are most important.
I started my real estate career 16 years ago in BC where I first obtained my license. After having my license in BC for 3 years, my husband and I moved on to obtain a hunting business in Alberta and with this came many changes including a relocation and a new start to my career.
After a short year in Alberta, my friend and I opened our own brokerage. This was a learning curve to say the least; however, we pushed forward and became one of the highest volume producing real estate duos in our market. Our principle was simple: clients’ needs over all else. After successfully owning and operating our brokerage for several years, we sold our brokerage to focus on family.
After almost 15 years away from home, I decided it was time to move back to where my roots were planted. Unsure of the market status in Saskatchewan, I licensed with a local agency for approximately a year before deciding to venture out on to my own and open my own brokerage once again. This was an extremely tough decision as I was still getting to know market and where I may be doing most of my business. After one year on my own, I signed my first agent and my associate broker Debra Dittrick. After 2 more years, Elisha Demyen joined my team and in 2017 two more agents were added to our team – Caitlyn Gallagher and Mariel Harvey.
As an agent, I specialize in White City, Balgonie, Qu’Appelle, McLean, Indian Head and surrounding communities. I have a vast knowledge of acreages and farms having grown up and being raised on a farm just minutes from the Village of McLean. I have also been lucky enough to work beside my brother and owner of Authentic Developments adding yet another branch to our already diverse company. In doing so, we have the opportunity to not only work in the used home sales market but to offer our clients the ability to explore new home construction with knowledge and ease. The last 7 years that I’ve been back in Saskatchewan, I am proud to say that my contacts, sales, and relationships continue to grow due to the continued support of my clients and my team at Authentic Realty.
